Christopher FreerChristopher Freer, D.O., FAAEM, FACEP
Director of Emergency Services and Emergency Department Chairman, Saint Barnabas Medical Center

Dr. Freer is a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and a fellow of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine. He is a member of the New Jersey chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians. Dr. Freer has appeared on New Jersey Monthly's annual "Top Doctors" list every year since 2008.

He received his undergraduate degree at University of Delaware and his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey's School of Osteopathic Medicine, Stratford, NJ. He completed his residency in emergency medicine at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, where he was chief resident.

Dr. MilanoMarc Milano, M.D., FACEP
EM Regional Medical Director, RWJBarnabas Health System

Dr. Milano is the Vice Chair at RWJ University Hospital Somerset. He is currently the Regional Medical Director for RWJBarnabas Health System.

Dr. Milano graduated from Rutgers University and St. George’s University School of Medicine. He completed his emergency medicine residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, where he served as chief resident. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Emergency Medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. He was born and raised in New Jersey and currently resides with his wife and two sons in Hillsborough.

Dr. AbrahamDolly Abraham, M.D., MBA, SFHM
HM Regional Medical Director, RWJBarnabas Health System

Dr. Maninder “Dolly” Abraham is the hospital medicine section chief at Saint Barnabas Medical Center. She earned designation as a Senior Fellow in Hospital Medicine by the Society of Hospital Medicine and was inducted into the 2014 class of Senior Fellows at the Society of Hospital Medicine.

She is a member of multiple committees including the House Staff Review Committee, Quality and Resource Management Committee and Medical Executive Committee. She received her medical degree from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore University in Manipal, India. She is a fellow of the Academy of General Education and a member of the American College of Physicians.

Dr. BensonPayam Benson, M.D.
HM Regional Medical Director, RWJBarnabas Health System

Dr. Benson is the Regional Medical Director for RWJBarnabas Health System. He completed fellowships in nephrology and internal medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He has extensive research experience and has been referenced in various publications, and is a member of the American Society of Nephrology, American College of Physicians and American Medical Association.

Dr. Benson received his medical degree from Ross University, Dominica, West Indies, and holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Yeshiva University, Bronx, NY.

Dr. BattistaChina Battista, N.P.
Regional Director of APP Services, RWJBarnabas Health System

Battista became the regional director of APP Services in April 2015. Prior to this role, she was the lead APP at Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus. A graduate of Wagner College in Staten Island, NY, Battista worked as a Burn Intensive Care emergency medicine nurse at Saint Barnabas Medical Center before continuing her education as a nurse practitioner. Battista has been a practicing emergency medicine clinician since 2002.
