Erik Rauch, DNP, CRNA, NSPM-C, DAAPM
Envision Regional Allied Health Director and Chief CRNA at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg
Erik Rauch provides anesthesia services for obstetric, trauma, general, vascular, orthopedic, gynecological, thoracic and neurological cases. In addition to his clinical duties, Erik is an assistant professor for the Nurse Anesthesia Program at the University of South Florida, where he served as program director from 2011 to 2014. He received his Doctorate of Nursing Practice in 2011 and became a diplomat in the American Academy of Pain Management (DAAPM) in 2014. In 2015, Erik became one of a select number of CRNAs to receive the latest NBCRNA credential in non-surgical pain management (NSPM-C). He has been published twice in AANA Journal, and he has presented poster and podium speeches at the state and national level. Erik is the current president of the Florida Association of Nurse Anesthetists (FANA).
James (Jim) Mermigas, CRNA, MPM, MBA, DNP
James Mermigas joined Envision Physician Services in 2005 and currently serves as Vice President of Allied Health. Jim and six regional allied health directors work with allied health chiefs across all Envision anesthesia practices. Jim also works with Envision critical care programs and serves as an AMSURG anesthesia regional medical director. Jim was a staff CRNA at the University of Pittsburgh Presbyterian Hospital from 1989 to 1996, and he served as chief nurse anesthetist at a large tertiary care center in Pittsburgh from 1996 to 2005 prior to becoming director of clinical operations for Western Pennsylvania Anesthesia Associates in Pittsburgh. Jim is adjunct faculty at the University of Pittsburgh School of Anesthesia and the LaRoche School of Anesthesia.
